Philleigh - Roseland Peninsula
Philleigh - Self Catering - History - Roseland Inn
The Hamlet of Philleigh is located in the heart of the Roseland Peninsula in South Cornwall. Although small, Philleigh makes an excellent rural retreat and has a good selection of self catering cottages and houses. Philleigh has one Pub, The Roseland Inn, which has a restaurant and beer garden for those balmy summer evenings.
The area is a paradise for walkers with easy access to the rest of the Roseland and beyond. Philleigh is just a short drive from St Mawes, the main village on the Roseland Peninsula, and is also close to other village such as Portscatho, Ruan Lanihorne, Veryan, Portloe and others. The seventh century church at Philleigh is worth a visit, as is the nearby St Just in Roseland Church.
