The Linhay

Situated 4 miles north of Truro, yet only 7 miles from the golden sands of Perranporth, the sleepy hamlet of Tregavethen is an enchanting rural retreat where you can find true peace and quiet, broken only by the sounds of local wildlife and the odd passing tractor.

The Linhay was a traditional agricultural building that has been sympathetically refurbished into a quite superb two bedroom holiday home by its very caring owners, who live a short distance away. The accommodation benefits from a sizeable open plan kitchen / living space with dining table and sofas, and French windows opening onto a secluded patio area. There are two large en-suite bedrooms, one of which also has French windows to the garden so is a great place to enjoy a morning coffee.

The Linhay is a particularly environmentally friendly place to stay with cutting edge energy saving technology including solar panels, an air source heat pump, LED or energy saving fittings wherever possible, and a rain water harvesting and recycling system. Accommodation
Ground Floor Only: The open plan living room is bright and airy with a high ceiling and exposed beams, and incorporates a kitchen, dining area and living area with 2 large sofas. The master bedroom has a king size bed, and an en-suite bathroom with an over-bath shower. There is a further twin bedroom with French windows opening onto a secluded garden, and an en-suite shower room. Both bedrooms are fitted with attractive pine furniture.
Exterior: The private garden is on two levels, with both grassed and patio areas with unspoilt rural views, external furniture and barbeque facilities.

Facilities & Services
Heating is via underfloor heating and the wood burning stove (with an initial supply of wood provided) . The fully fitted kitchen is equipped with an electric oven & hob, kettle, toaster, fridge / freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine & tumble drier. In the living area there is a flatscreen digital TV & DVD player. There is WiFi available at the property. There is an iron & ironing board.

Miscellaneous
Electricity, heating, bed linen & towels are all included. There is off road parking for up to 2 vehicles. Up to 2 well behaved dogs will be permitted at a small additional charge. Regrettably no smoking is allowed. There is a cot & high chair available.

General Booking Information
Arrival / Departure is a Sunday for 2011 or a Friday for 2012.
Short breaks are available during quieter periods.
£100 pre-authorised to your credit or debit card as a security deposit is required.
