Featherbeds Cottage is set in a lovely, rural location, just one and a half miles from the cathedral city of Truro. Comfortably furnished, this detached property is the ideal base for couples and small families wishing to explore the delights of Cornwall. It is a superbly remote and quiet location with only the Owners home next door.

The lounge/diner has a large, arched window and high ceilings, which accentuate the feeling of light and space. The attractive kitchen is modern with a traditional stone floor. Upstairs, the double bedroom has an arched ceiling and wooden beams. An archway (with a privacy curtain) leads to the second double room with a balcony overlooking the lounge. For this reason, the property is not suitable for young children. There is a large garden overlooking fields, where you can sit and enjoy the balmy evenings. The owner's gardens are close by and have a deep pond, so children must be supervised.

Accommodation
Ground Floor: Lounge/Diner. Kitchen. Shower room with shower cubicle, WC and washbasin.
First Floor: Bedrooms with one king-size bed and archway (with privacy curtain) leading to galleried double bedroom.
Exterior: Delightful gardens & woodlands surrounding. There is exterior furniture & a BBQ.

Facilities & Services
Heating is provided throughout via electric radiators with a central control. There is a TV, DVD & Video in the lounge area. The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge. A freezer, washing machine & tumble dryer are available on site. There is a highchair & cot available. WiFi is available at the property. There is an iron & ironing board. In the barn opposite there is space available for secure storage of surf boards, wet suits, bikes, canoes and any other miscellaneous items you wish to bring on holiday with you.

Miscellaneous
Electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are all included. There is parking available for up to 2 cars. We regret no dogs are allowed & no smoking is permitted at the property. Due to the 1st floor balcony, the Owners do not recommend this property for young children, although infants are welcome.
