Tucked away on a quiet lane only a few steps from the harbour in St Mawes, this conversion is a delightfully presented family holiday home, with restricted views out across the bay from the lounge over the rooftops of houses in front. It is right in the heart of St Mawes and perfectly positioned for exploring the village and the area. The ferries to Falmouth, Place Manor, Trelissick Gardens & Truro depart from the quay which is just a few steps from your front door. St Mawes is perfect for just leaving the car and exploring by foot.
This reverse level converted timber clad building has been cleverly designed by the Owners and presented in excellent order. The main living space is open plan with a fully fitted kitchen, comfortable sofas and a dining area. It is an ideal cottage for a larger family with 3 bedrooms on the ground floor and a fourth bed area on the mezzanine floor with a futon bed which could easily convert to a retreat for the kids. It would also be great for a couple looking for a bit more space in the middle of St Mawes. There is a great little patio garden just in front of the property which gets sun for most of the day, but is particularly great in the mornings.
Accommodation
First Floor:Living area with open plan kitchen and dining area.
Ground Floor: Double bedroom with en suite shower room, twin bedroom and single bedroom with a narrow single bed more suitable for children.
Mezzanine: Futon bed area with TV & stereo - an ideal retreat for older children. Please bear in mind that the FOURTH DOUBLE BED IS A FUTON BED.
External: There is a small private patio garden area with some outside furniture.
Facilities & Services
The kitchen is fully fitted with an electric hob & oven, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge with freezer compartment. There is a TV with DVD in the lounge and a further TV with stereo on the mezzanine floor.
Miscellaneous
Bed linen, towels & electricity are all included. The heating is via night storage heaters. No smoking is permitted and we regret no dogs are allowed. There is no parking at the property, although the main car park is only some 50 yards away where weekly tickets can be purchased. Please note that whilst it is possible to drive right past the property, the lane is very narrow so please be careful.
General Booking Information
Arrival / Departure is a Friday.
Short breaks are available during quieter periods.
£100 security deposit is required to be pre-authorised on your card.
A 10% discount is available to a couple only booking outside the peak season.
