One of the finest houses in St Mawes, Tideway offers a level of luxury equivalent to the best hotels in Cornwall. Located overlooking the harbour & the whole bay in St Mawes and only a 2 minute walk from the village centre, this superb house has stunning views from the dramatic deck area and from every room in the house. It is a very special place to stay for either a special occasion, with a group of friends or a wonderful family holiday.
The house was completed in 2010 and offers one of the best places to stay in St Mawes with modern open plan living spaces on the ground floor benefitting from huge folding opening doors onto the quite amazing deck with it's quite breathtaking views of the bay. The kitchen & living rooms feature the highest levels of specification, including an integrated sound system and computer controlled heating system. At night the deck area benefits from elegant exterior lighting and there is even a 6 seater hot tub to enjoy in the lower garden area.
The first floor bedrooms all have been developed with the view in mind and feature fantastic glazed Juliet balconies for uninterrupted views of the harbour & bay from your bedroom. The 2 double bedrooms both have en-suite facilities and there are 2 further bedrooms, one twin and one triple with bunk beds and a single bed.
Accommodation
Ground floor: Entrance hall with a large cloakroom WC to one side. Open plan living space with a central open fireplace. The main living and kitchen area benefits from huge folding glazed windows that open right back to bring the deck into play almost as an extension of the living space. The kitchen has a full range of equipment expected for a property of this size including multi ovens and extensive work tops. There is a separate utility room.
First floor: All bedrooms have sea views. Master double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, second double bedroom with en-suite shower room, one twin bedroom, one triple room with full sized bunk beds and a separate single bed. Family bathroom.
Exterior: Large deck area with exterior furniture including table & chair and sun loungers. There is also a large gas BBQ. There is a 6 seater hot tub available on the lower garden area. There is a table tennis table and also a boules pitch on the lower garden area.
Facilities & Services
Heating is via climate controlled underfloor heating throughout with an open fireplace in the living space. The property benefits from WiFi throughout. The kitchen is very well equipped with a range of cupboards, Miele appliances including including induction hob, combi microwave, oven, warming drawer and dishwasher. There is a flat screen TV & DVD player in the main living area and a further TV & DVD player in the smaller living area. There is an integrated sound system throughout the ground floor with iPod facilities. Both double bedrooms also have TVs & DVD players.
Miscellaneous
Electricity, heating, bed linen & towels are all included, but you will need to provide your own beach towels. We regret that dogs are not permitted. We regret no smoking is permitted. There is a cot and high chair available at Tideway. There is parking space available for up to 4 cars on the private driveway which is accessed from the private cul de sac through an electric gate.
