St Mawes benefits from a temperate climate making it a year round treat. For those wishing to relax you could not have found a more beautiful or peaceful resort for your Cornish holiday.
Originally refurbished in the winter of 1999 The St Mawes Hotel is situated but a stone throw away from the waters edge in the delightful village of St Mawes, Cornwall. A friendly welcome is offered to all our customers, be it hotel guests or members of the public that frequent our bar & restaurant.
The hub of the hotel is our Café bar.The ground floor bar that opens out onto the street in the summer, that lends a feeling that you could be on the French Rivera rather than within the UK, to our first floor Restaurant, which offers a informal atmosphere and fantastic views of St Mawes harbour and Falmouth Bay. Weather permitting allows diners to enjoy our balcony and to take in the superb St Mawes views.
The St Mawes Hotel has nine en-suite rooms available. Located in the main building of the Hotel are five simple but attractively decorated rooms. With warm creams and yellows and natural woods, plus fantastic sea views from our three sea facing rooms, they are certainly the best introduction to a comfortable and delightful visit to St Mawes and Cornwall.
New for the summer of 2009, our Cottage at the rear of the Hotel has been transformed into four tastefully designed spaces to ensure that our guest have a comfortable stay. Although they do not offer a sea view we have taken every effort to provide a living space that will indulge and satisfy our guests and make up for the lack of view.
