Trydek

With thick stone walls, a fabulous granite fireplace and low beamed ceilings, Trydek Cottage is a really traditional Cornish cottage. Refurbished during the winter of 2011 which included a newly fitted kitchen and bathroom, this charming cottage is perfect for a couple or up to 4 people with the use of a sofa bed. Trydek also has the advantage of a rear south facing patio accessed directly from the kitchen which is a little sun trap. There is also a private off road parking space to the rear.

The cottage is located in the village of Trewellard, a few miles from St Just in Penwith in this wild and dramatic part of west Cornwall. The coastal path is spectacular in this region and walkers will love exploring this unique coastline. The iconic Cornish engine houses dot the landscape and indicate the amazing industrial heritage of the area. The superb museum at Geevor Tin Mine is a great place to learn about the astonishing mining history. For those in search of great beaches, Portheras Cove Beach is a short distance away and is described as one of Cornwall's last remaining truly local beaches with the heavenly combination of white sand and very few people.

Ground Floor: Kitchen / dining area. Lounge with Futon bed.
First Floor: Double bedroom with king sized bed. Bathroom with roll top bath and shower cubicle.
Exterior: Front garden with outside furniture. Rear patio with space to sit outside.

Facilities & Services
Heating is via night storage, electric heating and the wood burning stove. The kitchen has a range of equipment. There is an electric oven and hob, a microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge / freezer, slimline dishwasher and washing machine. The lounge area has a flatscreen TV with SkY & DVD player, CD & radio. There is an iron & ironing board.

Miscellaneous
Electricity, heating, bed linen & towels are all included but you will need to provide your own beach towels. There is 1 car parking space to the rear. A well behaved dog is allowed at a small additional charge. Regrettably no smoking is permitted. There is a cot & high chair available upon request.
