Karadow Cottage

Karadow Cottage is one of two lovely cottages at peaceful Messack Farm just outside St Just in Roseland on the beautiful Roseland Peninsula. Sleeping up to 6 people this spacious cottage offers excellent facilites in one of the most idyllic spots about 4 miles north of St Mawes.

Messack Farm and its self catering cottages are in a spectacular location on the Roseland Peninsula being on a promontory between St Just Creek on one side and the safe sailing waters of the Carrick Roads on the other. The surrounding countryside is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A haven for walkers, bird watchers and country lovers.

The self catering cottages are well away from busy roads yet only 10 mins from St Mawes and Portscatho and beaches such as Pendower, Carne, Porthcurnick, St. Anthony and others. It is ideally positioned for visits to Eden, Heligan and many National Trust gardens and houses throughout Cornwall.

Accommodation
Ground Floor: A light and spacious open plan living room and kitchen. Timber flooring and warm, wool rugs complement comfortable furniture and a cast iron effect gas stove gives a warm glow on chilly evenings. Off the entrance hall is a WC, wash basin and shower cubicle with an electric power shower.
First Floor: Master bedroom, a second bedroom has a double bed followed by a third twin room. There is a family bathroom with over bath power shower, WC, washbasin and electric shaver point.
Exterior: The patio has external table, chairs & BBQ facilities. There is a garden at the rear.

Facilities & Services
Heating is via oil-fired central heating and gas fires. The kitchen has a range of equipment. There is an electric oven and hob, a microwave, fridge / freezer & dishwasher. A separate utility room houses washing machines, tumble dryer, extra deep freeze & room for drying wet suits etc. There is Freeview digital TV with DVD / CD, VCR player and a portable radio.

Miscellaneous
Electricity, heating, bed linen & towels are all included but you will need to provide your own beach towels. There is parking available for up to 2 cars on the private driveway. We regret no pets are allowed. The property is not available to groups of single, young people under 25 years. Regrettably no smoking is allowed.
