A walk into Eden is like traveling the whole world in one day. You can visit the rainforest's of the Mediterranean and revel in the plants, art, sculpture, and more features. This site is open for everybody. Your visit to the Eden Project will take you to the sprawling structure along the side of a deep pit and it is made up of three bio domes to represent the three climate areas in the world.
Marvel at how the creators of the project came up with the 787 feet long, 55 feet high Humid Tropics Biome, a greenhouse that recreates the natural environment of a rainforest.
From there, you can move on to the Warm Temperate Biome which houses plants from temperate rainforest's. The third bio dome is the Roofless Biome which houses plants from the temperate Cornwall area. To better assist guests to learn about the Eden Project and other environmental issues, informational kiosks and artistic installations are placed all over the biomes. You can also participate in regular workshops and special events. Eden’s largest dome was finished in June 2000.
A fully functioning greenhouse, the Eden Project is complete with plants, domes, soil and plumbing system all in place. However, you can expect more developments as the creators of the Eden project consider it work in progress.
