Merrose Barn

Merrose Barn is a very comfortable and well equipped barn conversion on a quiet farm just to the north of Portscatho close to the little village of Rosevine. It is a great base for walkers as the Coast Path is just over 10 minutes walk away. The little beach at Cugurrel is also a delight (and very quiet!). The Owners of Merrose Barn run the superb Roseland Paddle & Sail sailing and windsurfing school at Percuil and can provide lessons and hire.

The barn itself sleeps a young family of four comfortably, but can also sleep up to six people if required with the use of a futon sofa bed in the lounge area. There is a good sized double room and a smaller bunk bedded room. The lounge, kitchen & dining area is all open plan with French windows onto a small little south facing patio area which is a superb place to relax. There is also plenty of space for children to run around close to the barn.

Accommodation
Ground Floor only: The front door opens into a porch & then the open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. A corridor leads off to the double room, bunk bed room and bathroom.
Exterior: The French windows open onto the patio area.

Facilities & Services
Heating is via gas central heating. The kitchen is fitted with a range of cupboards and has an electric oven, dishwasher, microwave & fridge. There is a TV, DVD & Video player in the lounge.

Miscellaneous
Electricity, heating & bed linen is provided, but you will need to bring your own towels & beach towels. There is parking available for up to 2 cars outside the barn. Regrettably, dogs are not permitted in the barn. We regret no smoking is permitted. A cot & high chair are available. Weekly hire of water sports equipment is available for guests at Merrose Barn. The Owners offer a 15% reduction on weekly hire for guests year round. In April, May,September and October for guests wishing to take lessons with Roseland Paddle & Sail, the Owners will offer two for the price of one. If all the family wishes to participate there are family discounts available.
