Porthtowan webcam offers the viewer to look back at previous webcam snapshots from the current day. In addition you can view a live feed from the webcam for 30 seconds, the limitiation is to preserve bandwidth, presumably.
The live feed of the webcam requires the viewers browser to have java installed, which is readily available should it not be already installed.
The Blue Bar offers a range of good food from their menu, an array of drinks and wines, and a friendly relaxed atmosphere. At the weekends the Blue Bar hosts DJ's and live bands and a sumptuous sunset as a fitting background!
Open seven days a week 10 till late.
