Shelduck Cottage

Set on a 72 acre working farm in the heart of the Roseland Peninsula, only a short distance from Pendower Beach, this well presented barn conversion is a very peaceful place to stay, yet within easy reach of Portscatho & St Mawes. Perfectly positioned for exploring the area, it is ideal for keen walkers with many footpaths around the farm and there is a footpath to Pendower Beach which takes Farm trails & animal feeding are available for children around the farm.

The cottage is one of 2 at Lower Penhallow Farm converted out of an old livestock barn close to the Owner's farmhouse. Both units look out across the gravel farmyard to beautiful countryside to the south. The farm is located out of earshot of main roads but you may hear the occasional tractor, postman or birdsong, and at night there is often a view of the night sky seldom seen in built-up areas.

Shelduck Cottage is a reverse level property with the lounge & kitchen at first floor level, together with the main double bedroom. The lounge has a cosy little woodburning stove for cooler evenings and the kitchen is fully fitted. The other bedrooms are at ground floor level.

Ground Floor: 2 twin bedrooms with built in wardrobes, single bedroom with built in wardrobe, family bathroom with over bath shower.
First Floor: Lounge, kitchen with dining table, main double bedroom with ensuite shower room.
External: Shared garden with outside furniture.

Facilities & Services
Heating is via oil fired central heating and the woodburning stove. The lounge has a TV & DVD player & WiFi is available. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer & ceramic hob & electric oven. There is a separate dedicated laundry serving both holiday cottages on the farm. The garden has a BBQ.

Miscellaneous
Electricity, heating, bed linen & towels are all included, but you must bring your own beach towels. There is plenty of car parking available and there is also room for small boats and trailers. Up to 2 well behaved dogs are welcome at a small additional charge. A stairgate, cot & highchair are all available. We regret no smoking is permitted.

General Booking Information
Arrival / Departure is normally a Saturday.
Short breaks are available during quieter periods.
£100 security deposit is required to be pre-authorised on your card.
Mallard Cottage can be combined with Mallard Cottage to provide accommodation for up to 11 people.
