Enys Gardens - penryn

Enys Gardens was mentioned in the 1709 edition of Camden's Magna Britannia for its fine gardens. Visit the highlights of the garden like the Ladies Garden, later called the Flower Garden. Take a leisurely stroll in the 50-acre gardens and breathe in the scent from plants sourced from New Zealand and Patagonia.

Imagine a sight so amazing that you may want to stay there forever; a colorful spread of spectacular blooms and a carpet of bluebells all over the 50-acre garden. Some of the plants, trees, shrubs and flowers come all the way from New Zealand and Patagonia. The result is a great diversity that creates a spectacular overall effect. A water wheel and a lake in the lower valley makes the scene complete. Perfect for long walks, indeed!

The garden is shrouded with a colorful history and luring mysteries of the horticultural history. In short, Enys Gardens provide a garden lover with a double opportunity of feasting their eyes on the spectacular gardens and at the same time satisfy your hunger for the past. Enys Gardens is open from April 1 to September 30, and closed during the winter. The garden is dog-friendly so you need not leave your poor dog at home. Admission fee to Enys Gardens is £3.00 for adults, £1.00 for children aged 6-16 years old, £2.50 for seniors and £1.00 for students.
