One of the functions of the National Lobster Hatchery includes the lobster restocking project, research programs and educational programs. The hatchery raise thousands of baby lobsters and release them to the sea in Cornwall and Scilly isles when the time is right. Through the research programs, the restocking project is supported. Admission fee at the hatchery is only £7 for a family of four. The National Lobster Hatchery is open every day of the year except Christmas Day and New Year.
