Screech Owl Sanctuary

Two dedicated owl conservationists – Mr. and Mrs. Screech started the sanctuary in 1990 with the aim to provide care for sick owls and release them back to the wild when they are ready. Over the years, the Screech Owl Sanctuary has continued to lure visitors, especially those who are interested in owls.
Screech Owl Sanctuary gives visitors the opportunity to view a large collection of owl species from all over the world. This is the best education you can have about owl conservation. Other activities at the sanctuary include close encounters with the owls under the supervision of the staff and guided tours conducted by the staff where you will be given a chance to feast on the falconry displays together with the owls and birds of prey.
You can also get a chance to view the moorland wildlife on the lakeside walk, or let your kids play in the Rainbow play area. As a souvenir of your visit, you can buy crafts or better yet, adopt an owl for a year. Quench your thirst with hot or cold drinks or sample their snacks at Tiggy’s tearoom. You can even arrange for birthday packages for all age groups and if you chose to, you can have an owl cake.
Screech Owl Sanctuary is open daily from 10am until 6pm until end of October. They reopen in February, and closes till Easter. Admission charges for adults is £6-95 while for it £6-50 for senior citizens. For kids aged 3 - 13 admission is £5-95. Meanwhile a family ticket for
