Newquay Zoo Cornwall - newquay

Voted as the Visitor Attraction of the Year for 2006 by the Cornwall Tourism Awards, Newquay Zoo started operations in 1969. It continues to be popular, drawing more 250,000 visitors every year. It has also won over 10 awards to support its being one of the best places for family outing in the Southwest. Give your family or students a chance to meet all kinds of animals housed within one area. You don’t have to go to spend thousands of dollars to chase after some jungle animals in other continents.

It is like a one-stop adventure, an unforgettable experience not only for the kids but for all members of the family. Grab the chance for a close encounter with different kinds of animals including some of the world’s endangered species. Visitors can join the feeding time talks and animal encounters and talk to the friendly animal keepers who can answer whatever questions you may have. Newquay zoo has arranged events all throughout the year. Group bookings are always welcome.

Newquay Zoo’s long list of positive feedbacks from visitors is more than enough to entice you to visit the place. Admission fee to the zoo is £6.95 for adults, £4.45 for children from 3-15 years old, £5.45 for students and senior citizens, and £3.50 for disabled. Discounts apply to families and groups.

Newquay Zoo is open every day from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. except Christmas day. The zoo has ample car and coach parking, and what is more, it is wheelchair friendly.
