Pendowr House

Pendowr means 'Watersend' and this is the only detached house in its own grounds in Watergate Bay available for holiday rental. It is a lovely 19th Century Victorian home with large rooms and a wonderful garden to be enjoyed by large groups or families. The house nestles on the hill between the village of Tregurrian and Watergate Bay. The beach is only a short 5-10 minutes where you can enjoy a host of watersports and adventure activities. There is also Jamie Oliver's famous Fifteen Restaurant and the Extreme Academy, both of which are located just above the beach.

The house will sleep up to 10 people in total and has large living rooms to accommodate groups. There is a south west facing lounge with wood burning stove for chilly evenings, a dining room seating 10 people and a conservatory which enjoys the sun nearly all day. The magical landscaped garden extends over 1.25 acres with 2 streams running through and is full of rare and unusual plants and flowers.

Accommodation
Ground Floor: Kitchen / breakfast room. Large lounge with wood burning stove. Dining room seating 10 people. Comfortable conservatory. Shower room with WC. Separate utility room and outside board storage.
First Floor: Two double bedrooms. One double with a bunk bed. One twin bedroom. A family bathroom with shower and a separate WC.
Exterior: The gardens are extensive (over an acre) with outdoor furniture and BBQ facilities. There is storage for surf boards.

Facilities & Services
Heating is via oil fired central heating and the wood burning stove. The kitchen has a range of equipment. There is an electric oven and hob, an aga, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge / freezer and dishwasher. There is a separate utility area with a washing machine & tumble drier. The sitting room area has a flatscreen digital TV & DVD player with Sky. There is WiFi available at the property and iPod Dock. There is an iron & ironing board.

Miscellaneous
Electricity, heating, bed linen are all included but you will need to provide your own towels. There is 2 / 3 parking spaces off road and 8 spaces in the layby. Up to 3 well behaved dogs will be permitted. Regrettably no smoking is allowed. There is a cot & high chair available.

Arrival / Departure is normally a Sunday.
Shortbreaks are available during quieter periods.
£400 pre-authorised to your credit or debit card as a security deposit is required.
A 20% discount is available for up to 4 people only booking outside the peak season.
