Poldhu Cove
You and your family will enjoy this friendly beach. The waters are mild and safe, and the sand is warm and soft. It is backed by shifting the sand dunes. And the cliffs around this happy beach, have a claim to fame - in the winter of 1901, Macaroni conducted his well-known trans-Atlantic radio communication experiment here...

Sun-kissed pale gold sands...cool blue surging waves...rugged ancient cliffs...
The picturesque Pollurian Cove is the most popular beach in Mullion. Youll revel in its fine warm sand...and you can even surf in its joyful waters!

Mullion Cove
The dramatic coastline of the Mullion Cove made it the epicentre of two very profitable industries…Pilchard fishing, and, the more adventurous but illegal, smuggling. When you walk about the weathered cliffs which border this cove, you can explore its ancient caves...which were erstwhile smugglers dens!

The Church of St Mellanus
At the heart of this olde worlde village, is a beautiful thirteenth-century antiquated church. Youll have a fascinating time exploring its architecture and interiors. The door of this ancient church has a little flap "dog-door". It was made to allow the sheep-dogs of that age, to move freely in and out of the church. The roof of this Cornish church is shaped like a barrel. It is held together by amazing little wood-pegs, and you wont spot a single nail!
The oak benches are creatively carved with beautiful scenes from the bible. And the font is a lovely octagonal bowl, which is engraved with a stunning serpentine motif...
This quaint church, which has survived for centuries, will cast a sublime spell over you...
