The Bay And The Beach
The beautiful bay of Mevagissey opens out into joyful blue waters. This has been the lifeline of the village for centuries. Even today, pilchard and mackerel fishing is a primary occupation for this community.

Lost Gardens Of Heligan
A short walk from the village of Mevagissey will bring you to the bewitching Lost Gardens of Heligan. This enchanted rhapsody of flora is spread over eighty acres of land! You will marvel at their large variety of plants and shrubs and be amazed by the sheer beauty of these grounds.

Every June, Mevagissey blossoms to life, and the people come together to celebrateFeast Week.
The Bay is the venue for a plethora of water sports. The locals, dressed in bright fancy dresses and colourful costumes, gather around to cheer for their favourites.
Children put-up delightful shows and participate in model making contests.
As you take-in the regaling and rejoicing, you can tuck-in at the food stalls, which offer loads of Cornish recipes and delicious delicacies. And you can join the locals at the pubs as they guzzle on their beers and make merry!
