Higher Prospidnick Cottage is a traditional 17th Century thatched farm cottage set in quiet rural location down its own private lane near Helston with all its shops, pubs etc We're near both north and south coasts e.g. 4 miles from Porthleven and 12 miles from St Ives, with great sandy beaches like Praa Sands only a short drive plus the miles of coast paths to enjoy

ACCOMMODATION

Higher Prospidnick Cottage between Crowntown and Nancegollan is a listed traditional farmhouse cottage built of stone and cob c1750 with thatched roof. Approached from the
main road down its own lane it is set in a rural area with small gardens at back and side, with ample parking at the front. Well behaved dogs (maximum 2) are welcome.

The accommodation comprises:
€Snug (small sitting room) - with log stove, TV / Video (+Digibox)
€Farmhouse kitchen/dining room with Aga Cooker* for cooking and hot water, dining table and chairs, armchairs and futon sofa/bed
€Galley Kitchen with electric cooker, fridge freezer, washing machine plus all cooking utensils etc
€Toilet/ Shower Room
€Main Bedroom with double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets
€Second bedroom with two 3' single beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers. A cot is available, also a fold up bed suitable for an extra child in the main bedroom. There is a double futon bed on the ground floor which could also be used for additional sleeping.

*Please note - the AGA can be used for cooking - or just hot water. In hot weather most
prefer the AGA to be let out as the Cottage can become over hot! There is an immersion heater alternative for Hot Water. The solid fuel AGA which needs filling twice a day can be serviced by the owner if required.

Refundable Security Deposit required (£75 first week £50 second week)
Arrival time 3PM - latest departure by 10AM
SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE COTTAGE

Alternatives to Saturday arrivals are possible. Short breaks (minimum 2
nights) can be arranged.

All beds have duvets and linen is supplied - please bring towels.
We change the bedding at the end of each week's stay.
In Spring, Autumn and Winter the AGA maintains a good warmth in the cottage
with the additional warmth from the log fire. There are also convector and
bathroom heaters.

Fuel for the AGA (Solid Fuel) is included in the cost as are logs for the
log fire.
Electricity is also included but the Immersion Heater is on a £1 coin meter
(except when the Aga is out)
