Trevarno House and Gardens

A visit to Trevarno House and Gardens is like stepping into 70 acres of enchanting gardens filled with Cornwall’s largest collection of plants in a woodland area. It also comes complete with a Sunken Italian Garden, Serpentine Yew Tunnel, shrubberies, bluebell valley, a boathouse, and walled garden. These add to the stunning features of the landscaped gardens. Guided tours of the garden are available but you should book ahead to check availability.

Trevarno Garden is also home to an interesting and rare bamboo collection. Grab the chance to see the walled garden which was built in 1838. It underwent restoration in 2001. The viewing area provides you a superb vision of the garden towards the lake and the Gothic Potting Shed, a photographer’s dream. To make your visit to the Trevarno Garden complete, cap it with a taste of sumptuous Cornish cream tea, cake, sandwich and tea at the Fountain Conservatory. Admission fee is £5.75 for adults, £4.90 for seniors, £2.10 for children under 14 years old, and £3.00 for students or disabled. Group rates are available upon request.
