Tour by train of Tamar

On Tuesday morning will take place a tour of the beautiful valley of Tamar, village of Calstock and surroundings and Cotehele. Accompanied by experts to recount the past and present of each location, the tour will start with a trip to Plymouth to travel from the picturesque Tamar Valley Railway Line. The train will take them to Calstock where visitors can choose to explore art galleries, the Calstock Quay, the recently discovered Roman Fort and to look at the Calstock Parish archive which recounts the stories and legends associated with Calstock. After lunch, visitors will visit the Cotehele Quay surrounding the mansion of Cotehele. On the way back will be a coach to take them to Kit Hill.
