Here is another one of the many guided walks that will take place during the Roseland Festival 2008. Monday mornings walk is with Alan January. The walk, which goes on for an hour, will take place at St. Antony Headland. The guide will talk about the ammunition store, barracks and the bird hide of Roseland. It is an educative and fun way to start Monday morning, while maintaining the festivity Roseland shines with during the festival. Booking tickets is essential if you want to participate. The young group of these four very gifted musicians hailing from Truro College with a degree in the jazz course is going to perform for Cornwall in one of the better Jazz nights of the festival. Inspired by very skillful tutors, these young musicians will perform modern jazz music as well as compositions by Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Sonny Rollins and the likes. They will also perform original compositions. Called The Pete Ibbetson Quartet, they have assured and reassured the world that the future of Jazz is not dwindling. The ticket price includes a pasty. | ||
