If you have ever driven passed Poppy Cottage Garden and thought ‘there can’t be anything in there’ think again, for behind the hedge lies a magical treat so packed with colour it will make your eyes pop with shear delight.
The garden of approximately 1 acre is divided into a series of small rooms which are planted to give all year colour and interest. Each room is thoughtfully planted with a different colour theme which flows from one to another.
Wander at your own pace and find carefully placed seating highlighting the wide variety of interesting shrubs, under planted with seasonal colour.
Don’t miss the collection of Ducks and Chickens wandering around the orchard and pond.
If you still have time for a cup of tea you must try the delicious home made cakes.
